AS 1682.1:2015, 2nd – Fire, smoke and air dampers, Part 1: Specification
AS 1682.1:2015 specifies requirements for the materials, design, manufacture, performance,
testing, and marking of fire, smoke and air dampers including mechanical dampers,
intumescent dampers, ceiling dampers and actuated or motorized dampers.
NOTES:
1 Requirements for the installation of fire, smoke and air dampers are specified in AS 1682.2.
2 Requirements for the routine service of installed fire, smoke and air dampers are specified in
AS 1851.
